[Qutecsound-users] build pythonqt with qt 4.8

tarmoj

Hello,

I updaraded my desktops system and updated kde and Qt with that to 4.8

When I started to rebuild Python Qt, I found out that the stable source of PythonQt (2.0.1) does not build with Qt 4.8

I needed to download svn source code from http://pythonqt.svn.sourceforge.net/viewvc/pythonqt/trunk/

make a small correction to tests/PythonQtTests.cpp (will be probably fixed soon):

line 57:

void* polymorphic_ClassB_Handler(const void* ptr, char** className) {

to

void* polymorphic_ClassB_Handler(const void* ptr, const char** className) {

and it built correctly!

I put the info also to https://sourceforge.net/apps/mediawiki/qutecsound/index.php?title=Building_with_PythonQt

greetings,

tarmo

Hi Tarmo,

Thanks very much for the information. Will probably need to do this soon too, so this saves me a good deal of time.

Cheers,
Andrés
